AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, leveraging AI coding tools in daily work. You will design and maintain robust Python services using FastAPI, Django, or Flask, and integrate diverse databases like Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB.

Collaboration in an Agile environment is required. Experience with RESTful API design, Linux basics, and modern CI/CD workflows is essential, with remote/office

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend development experience (≥4 years).
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficient with Git, branches, PRs and CI/CD pipelines.
• User-level Linux/Unix skills; shell scripting basics.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB databases.
• Solid RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain the internal developer portal backend.
• Build robust Python services with fastapi/django/flask.
• Leverage AI coding tools to improve implementation and testing.
• Integrate with Snowflake and relational/non-relational databases.
• Manage Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
