AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to extend and improve the backend of an internal developer portal, leveraging AI coding tools daily.

You will design and maintain a robust Python backend, integrate diverse databases like Snowflake and SQL/NoSQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. Strong focus on code quality and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on backend development with Python (4+ years).
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficiency with Git, branches, PRs, CI/CD integration.
• User-level Linux/Unix command line and scripting.
• Experience integrating Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Extend the internal developer portal backend.
• Build and maintain a robust Python backend for core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation and testing.
