BairesDev is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and maintain a clinical health-data pipeline using async Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB. You will contribute to backend services where correctness, security, and interoperability are non-negotiable.

Qualifications

Python Backend Developer (FastAPI & MongoDB) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build and maintain a clinical health-data pipeline backend using async Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB, where correctness, security, and interoperability are non-negotiable. What You'll Do

• Build and maintain async backend services using Python 3.12 and FastAPI.
• Manage persistence layer using MongoDB, ideally with Beanie ODM.
• Implement and maintain OAuth/OIDC and JWT-based authentication working across Keycloak and Descope in a provider-agnostic way.
• Work with Docker and docker-compose, debugging build and runtime issues in containerized environments.
• Contribute to a clinical health-data pipeline and MCP server implementation.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.12 and async FastAPI development.
• Experience with MongoDB, ideally using Beanie ODM for async persistence.
• Solid understanding of OAuth/OIDC and JWT-based authentication.
