Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Python + AWS) to provide senior technical direction for API-driven products used by partners. You will stay hands-on while guiding engineers and architecture decisions across teams.

You will define and evolve partner-facing APIs, design data products, and mentor engineers, with a focus on SaaS offerings on AWS. 100% remote work and competitive USD compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Python and either C#/.NET or Java.
• Background designing partner-facing APIs, including versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
• Track record delivering SaaS or API-as-a-Service products.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly on AWS; Azure or GCP also welcome.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, and API gateways.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities
