Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer in Pereira, Colombia to automate security controls and weave security checks into software development workflows.

You will apply 3+ years of software security experience, work with CSPM tools like Wiz or Prisma Cloud, and implement IaC and runtime security checks to secure cloud-native applications. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and security.
• Strong Python coding and security automation skills.
• Hands-on with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar CSPM tools.
• Terraform deployment-time checks for IaC.
• Runtime security checks with CSPM.
• Autonomous execution with no daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and golden images.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST, DAST, SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM for continuous cloud visibility.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance for Java/Python.
