AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and improve vulnerability management across CI/CD pipelines. You will integrate SAST/DAST/SCA gates and tune scanners to reduce false positives, while developing automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• AppSec tooling expertise or security architecture is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on scripting and integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Tune security scanning tools to eliminate false positives and raise alert accuracy.
• Develop automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to product teams (Java/Python).
