Matrix USA seeks a dynamic Project Manager to lead cross-functional software and data science initiatives across the LATAM region. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and you will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, high-impact deliveries.

You will drive scope, budgets, timelines, and risk management across multiple projects, facilitate client workshops, and foster a collaborative DevOps culture with a global team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• One or more certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, KMP.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with JIRA and other project management tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Job Title: Project Manager - LATAM (Spanish-Speaking)

Location: LATAM Region (Remote/Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional software and data science projects across the LATAM region. This role requires fluency in Spanish and a strong background in managing client-facing initiatives in multicultural environments. You will be the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive one or more concurrent projects from initiation to delivery, coordinating with internal technical teams and external clients.
• Client Engagement:
• Lead client meetings including demos, workshops, and steering committees. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions effectively to senior stakeholders.
• End-to-End Ownership:
• Manage scope, budget, timelines, resources, and change management processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively. Ensure project outcomes align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
• Facilitate internal ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
• Consultative Approach:
• Understand client needs and provide strategic guidance on solutions, balancing expectations and feasibility.
• Develop a deep understanding of our product and collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure alignment with client goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• One or more certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, KMP.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with JIRA and other project management tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background as a Software Engineer or Data Scientist.
• Experience managing Data Science projects and understanding the Data Science Life Cycle.
• Proven success in leading discovery workshops and project kick-offs.
