Job summary

A global construction and infrastructure company is seeking a Product Engineer to support design and optimization of product lines. This role requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in product engineering, proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and strong knowledge of steel materials. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and be involved in the entire product lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective products. This is a full-time position based in Medellín, Colombia.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in a product engineering role.
• Strong understanding of steel materials and their applications.
• Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, AISC codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize new and existing products.
• Provide engineering support to resolve production issues.
• Create and maintain documentation including specifications.
