GEOLOG is a world leader in energy services, delivering solutions to Oil, Gas, Geothermal and CCUS operators globally. The company seeks a technical expert to support ongoing operations and lead business development worldwide for data management services in our portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real-time data management and visualization, along with a proven track record of managing and/or selling data-driven services to companies across the energy sector.

Formación

• WITS/WITSML protocols knowledge required.
• KPI definition and specification using Geolog and external solutions.
• Intermediate IT knowledge.
• IT networking understanding an advantage.
• Rigsite field experience is an advantage.
• Experience with industry-standard wellbore interpretation platforms.
• PowerBI knowledge or other BI tools is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• WITSML/ Data Transmission services definition, documentation and training
• KPI’s services definition, documentation and training
• RTOC and RTOM services documentation and training
• Document, maintain and support the fleet of RTOM, KPI’S, Data transmission globally
• Cooperate with IT developers to design client-specific needs
• Support BDM on preparing the technical proposal for RTOC, RTOM, KPI’s
• Support Sales on presentation and products demo job
• Support operations on start-up, service delivery, quality assurance, troubleshooting, customer care
• To keep the reporting formats in place, procedures and quality controls in project
• Deal with third parties’ suppliers to: test and quality check products and support services, know new products, request new features
• Service improvements, new technologies/new standards analysis
• Liaison with external and internal WITSML product development teams
• Liaison with client technical representatives

Due to the rapid expansion of our Data Management Services, Geolog seeks a technical expert capable of supporting ongoing operations and lead business development worldwide for the data management services in our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real-time data management and visualization, along with a proven track record of managing and/or selling data-driven services to companies across the energy sector.

The Product Champion for Data Management Services will be responsible for supervision of all Data Transmission services running in all countries, from demo to delivery and service quality check. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

• WITSML/ Data Transmission services definition, documentation and training


• KPI’s services definition, documentation and training


• RTOC and RTOM services documentation and training


• To document, maintain and support the fleet of RTOM, KPI’S, Data transmission globally


• Able to cooperate with IT developers to design any specific client needs

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• WITS/WITSML protocols knowledge required


• KPI’s specification using Geolog and external solution


• Intermediate IT knowledge


• IT Networking understanding an advantage


• Rigsite field experience is an advantage


• Experience with industry-standard wellbore interpretation platforms


• Microsoft PowerBI knowledge, or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools is an advantage

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated ability to draft and implement manuals and procedures


• Strong oral and written English essential


• Team player with ability to work within culturally diverse environments and with minimum supervision


• Able to prioritize and organize work. Project management skills required


• Software sales/marketing experience is considered an asset.


• Very good soft skills


• Availability for international travel

QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management Certification an advantage, Prince 2 Foundation or other equivalent


• Demonstrate strong competence and understanding of every aspect of the Data management workflow both technically and commercially


• To be strong problem-solving skills regarding relevant hardware and software designs


• Able to listen and communicate effectively with managers, internal organization, and the customer/end user, and articulate verbally and in writing
