IKA BRASIL seeks a highly motivated Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineer to develop, optimize, and implement advanced industrial equipment and process solutions for customers worldwide.

The role covers concept through commissioning, with strong emphasis on automation, documentation, and continuous improvement. Occasional travel to support installations and customer visits is possible.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering as listed.
• Experience with industrial equipment design, process engineering, automation, or machine development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) and electrical design documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and improve industrial machines, process equipment, and complete production systems.
• Execute engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop and review mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, bill of materials, and manufacturing packages.
• Design and support electrical systems, control panels, and field instrumentation.
• Develop and implement automation solutions, including PLC programming and HMI/SCADA interfaces.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, optimization, and implementation of advanced industrial equipment and process solutions for customers worldwide.

The successful candidate will be involved in the complete project lifecycle, from concept development and detailed engineering to manufacturing support, commissioning, and continuous improvement of existing equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve industrial machines, process equipment, and complete production systems.


• Execute engineering projects from concept through detailed design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.


• Develop and review mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions according to project requirements.


• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing packages.


• Design and support electrical systems, control panels, power distribution, and field instrumentation.


• Develop and implement automation solutions, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA interfaces, process control strategies, and system integration.


• Identify opportunities for the improvement, modernization, and performance optimization of existing equipment and installations.


• Provide technical support to manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and service teams.


• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Procurement, Production, and external suppliers during project execution.


• Act as a technical contact for customers and suppliers regarding project-specific engineering matters.


• Ensure compliance with quality, cost, schedule, and safety requirements throughout project execution.


• Participate in multidisciplinary and international project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.


• Experience in industrial equipment design, process engineering, automation, or machine development.


• Knowledge of 3D CAD systems (preferably Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar platforms).


• Experience with electrical design software and documentation standards is considered an advantage.


• Understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, instrumentation, and process controls.


• Ability to analyze technical challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills within multidisciplinary environments.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


• Good written and spoken English skills; additional languages are a plus.


• Willingness to occasionally support installation, commissioning, and customer visits when required.

Preferred Experience

• Industrial process equipment, mixing technologies, food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, or manufacturing industries.


• Automation platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, or similar.


• Electrical project development and control panel design.


• Equipment retrofit, modernization, and continuous improvement projects.
