GEA Group is seeking a Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer with 2+ years of 3D design experience for industrial projects in the food and hygienic sector. You will design and verify plant and process diagrams, develop 2D/3D layouts, and ensure hygienic standards in manufacturing equipment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Inventor is required, with flexibility to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally. A related engineering degree is essential.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Excellent mastery of 3D modeling with AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Inventor.
• 2+ years of demonstrable 3D design experience for industrial projects (steam/condensate networks, skid tanks, piping).
• Knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools.
• Vessel simulation experience is a plus (Compress software).

Responsabilidades

• Design, edition and management of plant diagrams (Layouts).
• Design, edition and management of process diagrams (P&IDs).
• Create and verify construction diagrams.
• Validate manufacturing processes in the workshop with stainless steel and carbon steel, emphasizing hygienic design.
• Develop 2D projects for Instrumentation & Control, Processes, Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial disciplines.
• Demonstrate mastery of 3D modeling with AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Inventor.
• Designs for the food industry following hygienic design standards (pasteurizers, valve skids, warm-up skid).
• Generate bills of materials with counts by diameter and isometric using 3D software.
• Trace pipeline routes and isometric assembly in 3D design software.
• Prepare details of existing installations.
• Manage Design Services Contractors.
• Travel 30% of the time within and outside the country.
• Visa for entry to EEUU desirable.
• Assist mechanical Designer and Team Leader in project development.
• Create Purchase Requisitions and monitor material delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation.
• Support preparation of technical reports and design calculations.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Design, edition and management of plant diagrams (Layouts)


• Design, edition and management of process diagrams (P&IDs)


• To create and verify construction diagrams.


• Validate manufacturing processes in the workshop, with stainless steel and carbon steel, with an emphasis on hygienic industry.


• Develop 2D Project for different disciplines, such as, Instrumentation & Control, Processes, Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial, focused on sectors Food and beverage Industry.


• Excellent mastery of 3D modeling under AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Inventor software, providing the company with reliability and efficiency.


• The designs developed are for the food industry and hygienic design standards must be followed (pasteurizers, valve skids, warm-up skid, etc)


• Generation of bill of materials, with counts by diameter and isometric, by means of 3D Software for equipment manufacturing.


• Trace pipeline routes, isometric generation of mechanical assembly through 3D design software.


• Make details of the existing installation.


• To management of Design Services Contractors.


• Availability to travel within and outside the country, 30% of the time.


• To have a valid visa to enter EEUU is desirable.


• Assist mechanical Designer and Team Leader in project development.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Educational Background

• Degree in engineering Mechanical, electromechanical


• Excellent mastery and 3D modeling under AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3d, AutoCAD Inventor software.

Professional Knowledge and Experiences

• 2+ years of demonstrable experience in 3D Design for industrial project designs, steam and condensate networks, skid tanks, and piping diagrams.
