Job summary

Gallagher seeks a Pro-Rata Handler to support proportional treaty accounting across regions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of premium, claims, and related data.

You will collaborate with clients, reinsurers, and broking teams across the UK, Brazil, India and beyond, providing analytical insights and maintaining governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with proportional treaty accounts in reinsurance environments.
• Experience reviewing or processing reinsurance, insurance, finance or technical account information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced English language skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of reinsurance operations, treaty administration, claims processes, or settlement activities.
• Experience with reinsurance systems such as OpenTwins is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Excess of Loss claims is beneficial.
• Portuguese language skills are welcomed but not required.

As a Pro-Rata Handler, you will support the accurate administration of proportional treaty accounts, helping ensure premium and claims information is processed efficiently, compliantly, and on time. This role combines technical analysis, client service, financial administration, and international collaboration. You will work closely with clients, reinsurers, broking teams, and colleagues across multiple regions to help deliver seamless service and operational excellence.

About you
