The role involves enforcing housing standards, processing Disabled Facilities Grants, and managing complex housing cases. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Environmental Health, strong experience in housing enforcement, and must be HHSRS trained. Formación

• Experience dealing with private sector housing enforcement.
• Knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and DFG processes.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate housing condition complaints in the private rented sector.
• Enforce housing legislation and take legal action if necessary.
• Support the delivery of the Empty Homes strategy.

Conocimientos

Proven experience in local authority housing enforcement

Communication and negotiation skills

Strong organisational and case management skills

HHSRS trained and competent

Educación

Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health

Membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH)
