Job summary

Publicis Groupe en Bogotá busca un Mid Print Designer con 3–5 años de experiencia en diseño de impresión, producción gráfica o desarrollo de artwork. Se requiere dominio de Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop y Acrobat; título en Diseño Gráfico; y un portafolio sólido en impresión, packaging o editoriales.

Qualifications

• Se requieren 3 a 5 años de experiencia profesional en diseño de impresión o producción gráfica.
• Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico; se considerará experiencia equivalente.
• Dominio avanzado de Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Portafolio sólido en diseño de impresión, packaging o producción a gran formato.
• Conocimientos de preimpresión, separación de color y acabados.
• Atención al detalle y capacidad de gestionar múltiples proyectos.
• Inglés intermedio-alto (B2) obligatorio.

Responsibilities

• Diseñar y entregar materiales impresos de alta calidad con precisión de color y composición.
• Desarrollar y adaptar arte para packaging, editorial y piezas grandes.
• Convertir conceptos creativos en archivos listos para producción según guías de marca.
• Realizar preprensa, separación de color, validación de pruebas y arte final.
• Validar materiales, dimensiones, acabados y especificaciones de impresión.
• Colaborar con equipos creativos, producción y gestión para entregas puntuales.
• Mantener archivos de producción organizados y documentar versiones.
• Identificar mejoras de flujo de trabajo mediante plantillas y automatización.
• Brindar guía y soporte técnico a diseñadores junior.
• Usar herramientas impulsadas por IA de forma responsable para validar archivos.

In Bogotá, Colombia, we are looking for a Mid Print Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience in print design, graphic production, or artwork development within advertising agencies, creative studios, production companies, packaging organisations, or in-house creative teams. Their mission will be to deliver accurate, high-quality print materials across campaigns, product lines, and markets, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with technical production requirements. We are seeking a detail-oriented designer with strong creative execution skills, solid prepress knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams while supporting junior talent.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver high-quality print materials, ensuring accuracy in colour, composition, layout, and visual consistency.
• Develop and adapt artwork for packaging, editorial materials, large-format pieces, campaigns, and other printed assets.
• Translate creative concepts into production-ready files that comply with brand guidelines, client standards, and technical specifications.
• Perform prepress checks, colour separation, proof validation, and final artwork preparation before production.
• Validate materials, dimensions, finishing requirements, image quality, typography, bleeds, and print specifications.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, Account, and Project Management teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Maintain organised production files, documentation, versions, and metadata throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through reusable templates, automation, and process optimisation.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior designers, sharing print production best practices and solutions.
• Use AI-powered and automated tools responsibly to improve file validation, quality control, and production efficiency.

Cualificaciones

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Print Design, Graphic Production, Artwork Production, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print design, artwork execution, packaging, editorial, or large-format production projects.
• Solid knowledge of prepress processes, colour separation, proofing, print materials, and finishing techniques.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, colour management, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
• Experience preparing technically accurate, production-ready artwork for different print formats and specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, versions, deadlines, and technical requirements with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with creative and production stakeholders.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior designers is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with automated artwork creation, layout systems, templates, or variable-data printing is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-powered tools for artwork validation, quality checks, or workflow optimisation is desirable.
• Upper-intermediate English level, B2 or higher, is required.
