We are searching for an exceptional Principal Data Solution Architect to spearhead strategic initiatives and foster innovation at the highest level within our organization.

In this critical leadership role, you will focus on defining, constructing, and managing top-tier data architectures that align with our long-term vision. You will guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering scalable and cutting-edge solutions in a dynamic, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-grade data pipeline architectures to support global scalability
• Lead the design and deployment of advanced real-time streaming platforms to enable mission-critical data ingestion
• Architect and optimize multi-petabyte data lakes for high-performance retrieval and efficient long-term storage
• Oversee the creation and automation of intricate ETL and ELT workflows utilizing Azure Data Factory
• Integrate distributed data processing frameworks and advanced analytics through Azure Databricks and PySpark
• Design and govern comprehensive cloud infrastructure strategies leveraging Azure IaaS and PaaS models
• Establish cohesive enterprise networking strategies and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps
• Develop scalable data strategies for telemetry monitoring and sophisticated log analytics across multiple systems
• Innovate in time-series analytics and operational insights by using Azure Data Explorer and KQL
• Execute holistic data governance, security protocols, and compliance frameworks with Azure Purview
• Translate complex business demands into visionary technical strategies with a focus on Azure capabilities
• Cultivate collaborative relationships across executive stakeholders while mentoring senior team members
• Architect Agile and DevOps workflows to enhance innovation and organizational resilience

Requirements

• 16+ years of experience in Data Solution Architecture
• A minimum of 8 years in senior leadership roles, particularly within Agile enterprise settings
• Hands-on experience in at least 5 large-scale projects
• Strong ability to lead and manage cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
• Advanced expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks (PySpark), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Explorer for mission-critical analytics
• Comprehensive knowledge of distributed systems and scalable analytics utilizing PySpark and Azure Databricks
• Proven track record of architecting and managing globally scalable data lakes, pipelines, and real-time solutions with ADX
• Mastery in automating, integrating, and orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows using Azure technologies
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure governance, including IaaS/PaaS models, advanced networking, and CI/CD frameworks within Azure DevOps
• Demonstrated capability to define telemetry and log analytics architectures for large systems using ADX
• Specialization in time-series analysis and advanced operational insights using ADX and KQL
• High-level proficiency in delivering enterprise data security, compliance, and governance solutions using Azure Purview
• Aptitude for translating intricate business needs into robust technical frameworks centered on Azure and ADX solutions
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive alignment and mentor senior, cross-functional teams
• Deep familiarity with Agile workflows and enterprise-caliber DevOps methodologies for continuous improvement
• English language proficiency at an Advanced level (C1) or higher

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala for advanced data processing and optimization
• Experience with advanced ML/AI models and frameworks leveraging Azure Machine Learning and Databricks
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or similar
