EPAM Systems is seeking a Solution Architect (AI & Data Platform) to shape a unified data platform across Snowflake and AWS. You will align architecture with senior stakeholders while staying hands-on with engineering execution and code contributions.

In this role you will lead and mentor teams, deliver enterprise AI/data transformations, and drive scalable data solutions across multinational projects, leveraging Snowflake, AWS and modern data tooling.

Formación

• 8+ years in data engineering/architecture.
• Led a team of at least 20 people for 2+ years.
• 2+ full-cycle project experiences across development lifecycle.
• Enterprise AI/data transformations delivery track record.
• Snowflake data modeling and performance tuning expertise.
• Hands-on AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM).
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data platform development.
• Kafka and Airflow in production environments.
• AI/ML workflows and agent-based systems understood.
• Data platform consolidation strategies and trade-offs known.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher.

• Perform a gap analysis of the existing data and AI architecture
• Design and deliver a unified data platform spanning Snowflake and AWS
• Define AI workflow architecture that scales and minimizes technical debt
• Collaborate with senior leadership and data platform teams to align priorities
• Review, guide, and contribute to code development to support delivery
• Drive best practices across data engineering and AI architecture

Requirements

• Proven track record with 8+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture
• At least 2 years of experience in leading a team (at least 20 employees)
• At least 2 full-cycle project participation experiences or participation in several projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise AI/data transformations
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning
• Hands‑on proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and IAM
• Strong skills in Python and advanced SQL for data platform development
• Practical familiarity with Kafka and Airflow in production environments
• Solid background in AI/ML workflows and agent-based systems
• Clear understanding of data platform consolidation strategies and trade-offs
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
