Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP, you will design, develop, and support application solutions focusing on SAP Netweaver - Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will have the opportunity to work on various ABAP variants, including ABAP WebDynpro, ABAP Workflow, ABAP OData Service, ABAP EWM, ABAP HR, ABAP ISU, and ABAP CRM.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assist with Application Development: Participate in designing, developing, and supporting application solutions with a focus on SAP Netweaver - Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will learn to work with various ABAP variants and contribute to the development of highly complex application components.
• Explore Integration Opportunities: Engage in integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. You will assist in re-engineering application components and explore ways to optimize integration processes.
• Learn Solution Delivery: Observe and participate in the delivery of application solutions, collaborating with team members to ensure effective solution implementation.
• Support Application Re-engineering: Contribute to the re-engineering of highly complex application components, learning to design and develop innovative solutions.
• Engage in Team Collaboration: Participate in team discussions, share knowledge, and learn from experienced team members to enhance your skills in SAP ABAP development.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to SAP ABAP: Familiarity with SAP Netweaver - Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) concepts and principles.
• Basic Understanding of ABAP Variants: Knowledge of various ABAP variants such as ABAP WebDynpro, ABAP Workflow, ABAP OData Service, ABAP EWM, ABAP HR, ABAP ISU, and ABAP CRM.
• Interest in Software Integration: Curiosity about integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Awareness of Application Development: Basic understanding of application development principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP Platforms: Exposure to SAP platforms and technologies, including SAP Netweaver.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiarity with SAP HANA: Exposure to SAP HANA database concepts and principles is beneficial for this role, allowing for a deeper understanding of SAP ABAP development.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori: Basic understanding of SAP Fiori principles and methodologies can be advantageous in designing and developing user-friendly application solutions.
• Exposure to Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development principles can be helpful in collaborating with team members and delivering application solutions effectively.
