Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an experienced engineer with a strong background in power systems, protection and automation to lead complex projects and customer deployments. You will design, commission and validate substation systems, mentor teammates, and contribute to winning proposals while travel requirements apply.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of relevant experience, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and the ability to work across engineering disciplines.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant application experience with electric power systems and related practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection, control, integration, or automation.
• Experience with electrical power system design, studies, ICT and protective relay applications.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally at least 25% based on focus area.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge of power system topics to complex assignments.
• Lead training and assist customers with design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of automation or protection systems.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget to deliver high-quality, safe results.
• Assist in preparing proposals for SEL equipment, services and systems.
• Mentor staff and promote SEL values and manufacturing principles.
