Bush & Bush Law Group in Bogotá seeks a motivated Personal Injury Litigation Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in drafting documents, managing case files, and preparing for trials. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks within a U.S. legal framework.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Law or related field, or equivalent experience, plus prior experience in a U.S. legal environment.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience: Prior experience working in a U.S. legal environment is required. Personal injury law experience preferred; employment law a plus
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, customer-service oriented approach
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research databases
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence
• Case File Management: Organize and maintain case files
• Discovery Support: Manage discovery, organize responses, and create discovery binders
• Calendar Management: Track deadlines, appointments, and hearings
• Client Communication: Update clients on case progress and respond to inquiries
• Trial Preparation: Prepare materials for trial and organize exhibits/binders
• Research Assistance: Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings
