AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a part-time Data Engineering & Infrastructure Lead in Medellín to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions. You will mentor a team, compare managed vs custom tooling, and evaluate AI-assisted development workflows.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality engineering governance, environment separation, and readiness reporting to leadership while guiding the team on AWS and data practices.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering background for ETL/ingestion architecture.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code) for cost governance.

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live apps including ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, SageMaker.
• Review CI/CD and SDLC governance; advise on environment separation and gating.
• Assess Claude Code usage for engineering standards and cost.
• Advise on ETL/ingestion architecture between managed tools and custom builds.
• Mentor infra build team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, data practices.
• Present findings and recommended changes to leadership.
