Red Hat, Inc. is seeking an OpenShift Infrastructure Architect to lead architecture and implementation of OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization, across hybrid and remote environments.

You will guide pre-sales activities, shape customer solutions, and drive migration from traditional virtualization to modern cloud-enabled platforms. The role requires deep Kubernetes and virtualization expertise, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to translate business

• 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering.
• Strong pre-sales or customer-facing experience in complex solutions.
• Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Hands-on virtualization experience (VMware, KVM) and migration strategies.
• OpenShift Virtualization experience or VM modernization approach.
• Solid understanding of compute, storage, networking in enterprise infra.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with executive storytelling.
• Fluent in English.

About the job:

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenShift Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Kubernetes platforms and virtualization technologies. In this role, you will act as a t rusted technical leader across both pre-sales and delivery, helping customers define and implement their infrastructure transformation journey.

You will engage early in the sales cycle to understand customer needs, shape solutions, and support proposals. During delivery, you will lead the architecture and implementation of OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.

By leveraging Red Hat OpenShift, hybrid cloud, and automation practices, you will help customers consolidate infrastructure, modernize datacenters, and adopt a unified platform for VMs and containers

What you will do:

• Engage in pre-sales activities, including customer discovery sessions, workshops, and solution design

• Partner with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities, define scope, and build compelling technical proposals

• Drive adoption of automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC)

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practice

What you will bring:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering roles

• Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, supporting complex solution sales cycles

• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms

• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and migration strategies

• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization

• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

• Red Hat certifications are a plus
