Job summary

InterScripts is seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to join our healthcare IT team in Medellin, Colombia. The ideal candidate will implement, configure, support, and optimize the EpicCare Ambulatory module, collaborating with physicians, clinicians, and cross-functional technical teams to improve outpatient workflows and patient care.

The role requires hands-on EpicCare Ambulatory experience, certification, and the ability to work from the Medellín office five days a week.

Qualifications

• EpicCare Ambulatory Certification is mandatory.
• 3+ years of hands-on EpicCare Ambulatory experience.
• Must work from Medellin, Colombia office (5 days per week).
• Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support the EpicCare Ambulatory application.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from ambulatory care stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, validate, and deploy EpicCare Ambulatory enhancements and system changes.
• Support outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient encounters, order management, and clinical decision support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
• Participate in Epic implementations, system upgrades, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects.
• Perform unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation.
• Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with MyChart, Cadence, Prelude, Orders, and other Epic modules.
• Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices, organisational standards, and healthcare regulations.
