INGEPSY in Bogotá is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join a growing team supporting gaming-studio infrastructure, delivering mission-critical network services, and contributing to global-scale operations.

You will design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, oversee daily operations, and provide cross-platform system administration in Windows and Linux environments. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with a readiness to participate in rotating shifts as needed.

Formación

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
• Strong expertise with Cisco or equivalent networking equipment.
• Solid experience in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points to ensure reliability, security, and high performance in a 24/7 live-studio environment.
• Oversee daily network operations: monitor traffic and performance, troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless or connectivity issues, and implement optimizations to avoid downtime.
• Provide system administration support for Windows and Linux environments: manage network services, security protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.
• Diagnose complex network problems using tools such as packet analyzers or monitoring platforms (e.g. Wireshark, PRTG/Zabbix/Nagios) and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure full compliance with security and operational standards, manage documentation, and support upgrades, expansions or new deployments as needed.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points to ensure reliability, security, and high performance in a 24/7 live-studio environment.
• Oversee daily network operations: monitor traffic and performance, proactively troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless or connectivity issues, and implement optimizations to avoid downtime.
• Provide system administration support for both Windows and Linux environments: manage network services, security protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.
• Diagnose complex network problems using tools such as packet analyzers or monitoring platforms (e.g. Wireshark, PRTG/Zabbix/Nagios) and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure full compliance with security and operational standards, manage documentation, and support upgrades, expansions or new deployments as needed.

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration, ideally in high-availability or live-service environments.
• Strong expertise managing Cisco (or equivalent) networking equipment, and deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing protocols, network security, wireless infrastructure.
• Solid experience with both Windows and Linux system administration, and familiarity with modern network services and security best practices.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken); good communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work flexibly in a rotating shift schedule when required.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset able to anticipate issues, act with urgency under pressure, and maintain high standards of network reliability.
