Job summary

Softtek in Bogotá, Colombia seeks a senior .NET Engineer to lead modernization and migration of .NET applications to AWS. Hybrid work model in Bogotá and surroundings with remote options within Colombia. You will analyze, design, and build cloud-native solutions using C# and .NET 6/8+, migrating IIS/Windows services to AWS.

You will collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud deployments and drive post-migration optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with AWS and cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of EF Core and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization and migration of .NET apps to AWS.
• Analyze existing applications and migration requirements.
• Design scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET.
• Modernize legacy apps and services.
• Migrate IIS apps to AWS.
