Sterlington PLLC is seeking an experienced contract reviewer to join our remote team. You will own the final quality of a high-volume stream of commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts, applying firm judgment to AI-assisted first passes and ensuring all work aligns with client playbooks.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of US or UK contract experience, a strong command of legal English, and are comfortable working fully remotely within EST hours. LL.M.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in legal contract review, including NDA review under US or UK law.
• Experience in high-volume commercial contracts and playbooks.
• Fluent in legal English with strong terminology knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Review a high-volume pipeline of commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements) for rapid turnaround and adherence to client playbooks.
• Verify AI-generated first-pass markup and apply legal judgment before final QC.
• Apply and escalate only within established playbooks and client instructions.
• Identify confidentiality and commercial risks in standard transactions before QC.
• Maintain ticket status and handoffs for smooth turnover between reviewers.
• Manage a fast-paced review queue while preserving accuracy and speed.

The Opportunity:

This role gives you ownership of the final quality of every contract that goes out, reviewing at real volume and within firm turnaround windows, working alongside an AI-assisted first pass and applying your legal judgment against the client's playbook before handing off to quality control for final sign-off.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform initial review of a high-volume pipeline of commercial agreements, specifically NDAs, master services agreements, and vendor arrangements, ensuring rapid turnaround and strict adherence to client-specific playbooks.
• Work within Sterlington's AI-powered review workflow, treating each AI-generated first-pass markup as a starting point you verify and correct, with every final call resting on your own legal judgment.
• Apply legal playbooks accurately and consistently, escalating anything outside established guidance to quality control rather than deciding it independently.
• Identify and flag confidentiality and commercial risks within standard transactions, spotting non-standard terms before they reach quality control.
• Maintain accurate ticket status and clean handoffs across shifts, so turnaround stays on track for the next reviewer or QC.
• Manage a demanding, high-volume queue in a fast-paced review environment, delivering accuracy without sacrificing turnaround speed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in legal contract review, including hands-on NDA review under US or UK law.
• Genuine interest in AI and legal technology, with daily hands-on use of AI tools in your own legal work, comfortable working alongside AI as part of your everyday process.
• Strong background in high-volume commercial contract review environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately from detailed legal playbooks and client-specific instructions, escalating anything outside established guidance rather than deciding it independently.
• LL.M. from a U.S. or UK institution, preferred but not required.Ability to operate independently in a 100% Remote environment, on a fixed schedule.
• Fluent in both written and spoken legal English, with a strong command of legal terminology and language.
