Publicis Groupe in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to elevate motion graphics across social, broadcast, and digital campaigns. The role emphasizes expert craft, brand-aware storytelling, and collaboration with Creative Directors.

You will lead design to animation, create After Effects templates, and mentor junior designers while delivering projects on deadline and aligned with brand standards.

Formación

• 6+ years of motion design experience at an agency, studio, or in-house team.
• Expert level in the full Adobe Suite, namely After Effects with advanced template creation.
• Expert level in Cinema 4D.
• Exceptional sense of design, composition, and animation timing.
• Strong understanding of brand hierarchies and how to work within and across them.
• Highly skilled in type animation, shape layers, transitions, and complex motion sequences.
• Experience creating content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
• Comfortable presenting work and communicating creative decisions to Creative Directors.
• Strong understanding of production workflows and file organization.
• Up to date on motion design trends and social media formats.
• Familiar with AI-powered creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, or similar platforms and open to adopting new ones as the space evolves

• Create polished animated title treatments, transitions, end-cards, and other video elements with close attention to timing, composition, and detail.
• Develop static design mockups for approval before moving into animation.
• Build and maintain After Effects templates for repeatable production use.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors and other designers on daily projects, ensuring all work meets creative and brand standards.
• Lead and mentor junior motion designers, providing guidance on craft, workflow, and creative problem-solving.
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality and hitting deadlines.
• Participate in and contribute meaningfully to brainstorms and creative reviews.
• Engage with Senior Creatives and agency in a professional and confident manner when required.
• Use AI tools to work more efficiently without compromising the quality of the final output

The Senior Motion Designer is responsible for producing and elevating motion graphics and animations across a wide range of media, including animated title treatments, transitions, end-cards, and more. The ideal candidate brings expert-level craft to design and animation, and a deep understanding of how content performs across platforms. They can navigate brand hierarchies with confidence, helping to raise the bar for the team around them. They hold themselves to a high standard, integrate into a team naturally, and bring a problem-solving mindset to every project.
