Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a senior mobile developer to own an offline-first iOS/Android app, from project setup to launch on App Store and Google Play. You’ll review diffs, write tests, and make architecture calls for sync, storage and releases, with a backend counterpart.

Expect to build phone sign-in, camera and e-sign flows, optimize startup time, and manage store submissions while providing clear risk notes to the client team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building mobile applications with React Native released on App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with offline-first architectures including local storage and retry queues.
• Performance tuning on low-end Android devices.
• Daily use of AI coding tools with TypeScript, automated tests and CI around it.
• Clear written and spoken English for client-facing risk notes and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Set up Apple and Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build local storage, write queue and retry logic for offline stability.
• Decide sync and upload APIs with backend, resolve conflicts.
• Implement phone-number sign-in and SMS fallback push notifications.
• Ensure app performance, test coverage and monitoring for offline-first flow.
