Eurofins in Bogotá seeks an experienced software engineer to develop, maintain, and support VB6, .NET Core, and C# applications. You will work on MS SQL Server, SSRS and Crystal Reports, supporting production systems and analytics while collaborating with global stakeholders in an Agile environment.

The role involves enhancing legacy VB6 apps, developing new .NET Core features, and executing RCA for incidents, with a focus on code quality and documentation. Fluency in English is beneficial.

Formación

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and supporting software using VB6 with MS SQL and .NET Core.
• Experience across the full SDLC, from requirements to production support.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with Web applications using .NET Core (6/7/8), C#, Asp.Net Core, MVC, Web API.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Level 3 escalation point for complex production issues, providing expert support to L1 and L2 teams.
• Analyze and resolve applications, databases, and report issues across legacy and .NET platforms.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage critical incidents with focus on minimizing business impact and SLA compliance.
• Improve system stability by proactively identifying recurring issues and optimizing behavior.
• Maintain and enhance legacy VB6 applications and support .NET/C# development.
• Follow coding standards, peer reviews, documentation, and DoD; assist upgrades in production.
