Global Technology Services in Medellín, Colombia, seeks a Mid Data Engineer to collaborate with Business Data Analysts and cross-functional teams to design and integrate data models that meet business needs. You will translate data insights into scalable models and support data inquiries to empower decision making.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS/Stats or equivalent, 2+ years with dbt, SQL, Python, and cloud data warehouses, plus experience with end-to-end ELT pipelines, data governance,

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent.
• 2+ years with dbt and CI/CD for data modeling.
• 2+ years with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• 2+ years SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.
• 2+ years designing modular data models (Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or One Big Table).
• Ability to translate complex business logic and metadata into actionable data insights.
• Proven experience in end-to-end data pipeline design focusing on ELT and data quality.

• Translate data insights and analysis into new data models and guide data discovery processes to increase efficiency.
• Maintain key business metrics and ensure data quality across pipelines.
