CI&T is seeking a Mid Level Data Developer in Colombia to join our data practice and support data initiatives for a client in consumer electronics. This role focuses on reliable data pipelines and well-modeled datasets.

You will work hands-on with data transformations using SQL and dbt, build data models, and ensure data quality across pipelines, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to keep data ready for analytics and reporting.

Formación

• Advanced English proficiency (B2 or above) to participate in client meetings and discussions.
• Solid, hands-on experience with SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.
• Practical experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or a similar data transformation framework.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT principles.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work within existing data models.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains data transformations using SQL and dbt to keep datasets accurate and up to date.
• Queries, transforms, and validates data in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Builds and maintains data models that support business and analytical requirements.
• Investigates data quality, consistency, and accuracy issues by tracing data through pipelines.
• Analyzes and optimizes SQL queries and data transformations for performance and reliability.
• Collaborates with data developers and analysts to understand data requirements and onboard new data sources.
• Translates requirements into reliable datasets and data models; follows best practices.
• Supports maintenance and ongoing improvement of data pipelines and workflows.
• Contributes to analytics and reporting solutions, including dashboards when required.
• Communicates data requirements and blockers clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
