ZTE Colombia is seeking a Microwave (MW) Engineer to join our telecommunications team. You will work with project and technical teams to deliver microwave solutions across deployment lifecycles.

The role requires hands-on experience with microwave transmission engineering, including Layer 2/3 design, site surveys, BOM creation, and field testing. Excellent problem-solving and communication in a multicultural environment are essential.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in microwave transmission engineering.
• Proficient in microwave network design and deployment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum Analyzer, BER Tester and Power Meter.
• Familiarity with Pathloss 4 or 5 is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Work with project and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze site and path survey results to develop microwave transmission solutions.
• Prepare microwave designs, BOM, and required service documentation.
• Develop Layer 2 and Layer 3 design packages.
• Produce engineering drawings, including rack layouts and interconnection diagrams.
• Develop test and cutover plans.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support during deployment, integration, and field testing.
• Troubleshoot microwave network issues to ensure optimal network performance.
