Softtek is seeking a BI Developer with advanced MicroStrategy skills to design metrics, attributes, and cubes, and to optimize data models in Colombia. You will build reliable SQL queries and enterprise reports to enable timely data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather use cases, own problems end-to-end, implement mature BI processes, and deploy production-grade analytics solutions across the organization.

Formación

• Advanced experience with metric creation and troubleshooting in MicroStrategy.
• Advanced attribute creation and scripting experience in MicroStrategy.
• Advanced cube creation and troubleshooting in MicroStrategy.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
• Intermediate experience with report building in MicroStrategy.

Responsabilidades

• Backend modeling, including SQL querying to create tables within MicroStrategy.
• Metric creation, including derived metrics and complex metrics.
• Attribute creation, including complex scripting for case statements and applying simple formulas.
• Cube creation and troubleshooting.
• Evaluation of cube efficiency.
• Develop business intelligence and analytical solutions to solve complex business problems leading to timely, data-driven decision-making.
• Develop standard reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Participate in planning sessions with key stakeholders to develop use cases and requirements for analytical solutions.
• Take ownership of a problem and stay with it through to resolution, often involving coordination with people in other teams to achieve the desired outcome.
• Implement necessary processes and tools to ensure process maturity and best practices are followed.
• Deploy, maintain, and support enterprise-class, production-ready solutions.

• Advanced experience with metric creation and troubleshooting in MSTR
• Advanced experience with attribute creation and troubleshooting in MSTR
• Advanced experience with cube creation and troubleshooting in MSTR
• Intermediate to advanced experience with data modeling in MSTR
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
• Intermediate experience with report building in MSTR

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with MSTR Command Manager scripting
• Experience with MSTR System Manager
• Experience with Snowflake SQL
• Experience in an RGM, pricing, sales, commercial, or similar domain
• Experience with other BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker
