NeoWork is hiring Medical Virtual Assistants to support U.S. healthcare practices with front-office and administrative tasks.

You will help patients schedule, verify, and receive support, enabling providers to focus on care. This is 100% remote from Colombia with US business hours. Health insurance for contractors and performance-based incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in medical office, healthcare call center, or patient services.
• Excellent spoken and written English with a professional phone manner.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience using EHR or practice management systems.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work U.S. business hours.
• Based in Colombia with reliable home office setup and internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Answer and place patient calls for scheduling, reminders, and inquiries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; support pre-authorizations.
• Process patient intake forms and update EHR records.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-ups with providers.
• Route clinical or billing questions to appropriate staff.

NeoWork is hiring Medical Virtual Assistants to support U.S. healthcare practices with front-office and administrative work. You will help patients get scheduled, verified, and supported, so providers can focus on care.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and place patient calls for scheduling, reminders, and general inquiries
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and support pre-authorization requests
• Process patient intake forms and update records in the EHR
• Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and communication with providers
• Route clinical or billing questions to the right staff
• Handle all patient information in a HIPAA-compliant manner

• 1+ year of experience in a medical office, healthcare call center, or patient services role
• Excellent spoken and written English with a calm, professional phone manner
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience using EHR or practice management systems
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Availability to work U.S. business hours
• Based in Colombia, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection

• Experience with insurance verification or prior authorizations
• Experience with systems such as AdvancedMD, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
• Fluency in Spanish
