We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and performing detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing systems.

This opportunity allows you to work with a leading mechanical contractor based in the United States.

Working Hours

The working schedule is aligned with the U.S. Central Time Zone, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC ductwork, piping, plumbing systems, accessories, and related components.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-provided estimation software.
• Analyze mechanical drawings, project specifications, and tender documents.
• Ensure the correct selection of materials, connections, accessories, and system components.
• Use advanced Excel formulas for calculations, cost analysis, and reporting.
• Support tendering and pre-construction activities.
• Review estimates for accuracy and completeness before submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-7 years ofExperience in mechanical estimation, particularly for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience using quantity takeoff or estimation software.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas.
