DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Manager – Finance (PTP-RTR) in Bogota to lead PTP & RTR operations across regions. You will manage processes, resolve queries, maintain data quality and drive improvements in key KPIs, working with global and regional teams to ensure on-time payments and strong controls.

The role requires a senior finance background with leadership experience, English communication skills, and a proactive approach to process optimization across Complex systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; logistics, accounting or financial management will be an advantage.
• Finance Delivery experience for at least 2 years at a team leader/manager level.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Be a Super User for PTP & RTR processes in Finance systems and align with Global SOPs.
• Collaborate with Country Manager/Regional Champions on PTP & RTR initiatives.
• Respond to adhoc requests from Vendor/Operations/Country stakeholders.
• Review supplier accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Ensure PTP and RTR processes support timely task completion for BPSs.
• Improve KPIs and performance with Country & GSC.
• Ensure Internal Controls evidencing is in place.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across country, region, and global offices.
• Approve COD / Schedule Payment run / MEC tasks.
• Weekly performance review with GSC; implement New Workflow strategy.

Job Title: Manager – Finance (PTP-RTR)

Job Location: Bogota

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver top-quality service within the Finance – Procure to Pay (PTP) and Record to report (RTR) Services line, supporting our DGFF regions and countries globally. The role will involve managing PTP & RTR processes, collaborating with various stakeholders, resolving queries, maintaining data, monitoring, and action requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Process & Performance Management:

• Be a Super User for PTP & RTR processes in various Finance systems applicable for PTP and in alignment with the Global Process SOP/Guidelines
• Engage with Country Manager/Regional Champions and work collaboratively to carry out PTP & RTR initiatives
• Dealing with adhoc requests which require expertise from Vendor/Operations/Country
• Review the accounts of key suppliers and ensure that the team takes the necessary steps to guarantee that payments are made on time and without delays
• Ensure that the PTP and RTR processes are managed in a way that enables the completion of tasks for the BPSs without impacting operations
• Work with Country & GSC to improve KPIs and performance
• Ensure that the Country adheres to Internal Controls and associated evidencing
• Focus on ensuring positive business impact of Finance within own area – country, region, etc. in scope
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (in country, region and global offices) to ensure PTP & RTR targets are met
• Approve COD / Schedule Payment run / MEC tasks
• Weekly connect with GSC team on performance review
• Execute the New Workflow strategy for Country in co-ordination with Global Finance & Project Team
• Notify countries & users on the new functionalities or changes made in the tool or documents
• Trouble shoot user challenges in systems and process and ensure that these are escalated & resolved
• Having working experience in any of the automation tools or involved/ driven process automation projects

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor´s degree. A degree in logistics, accounting, financial management will be an advantage.
• Should have been in Finance Delivery for min of 2 years at a Team Leader/Manager Level
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Good interpersonal skills and team player
