ZTE Colombia is seeking a Logistics Leader to oversee import, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing. You will coordinate with suppliers, monitor KPIs, and ensure cost control while aligning with company strategy.

The role combines operational management with strategic vision, involving supplier bidding, compliance with Colombian regulations, and collaboration with Headquarters to optimize logistics performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and international trade.
• Conversational English – Intermediate level (B1-B2) is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate import, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing.
• Manage logistics suppliers, KPIs, contracts, invoicing, and service levels.
• Participate in bidding, negotiation, and supplier selection processes.
• Coordinate with DIAN for audits, inspections, and import documentation.
• Oversee transportation, costs, delivery tracking, and PODs.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities to optimize logistics operations.
• Prepare market analyses, quotation comparisons, and reports for decision-making.
• Manage logistics requirements from Headquarters and ensure process compliance.
• Ensure compliance with SAGRILAFT and other applicable guidelines.

At ZTE Colombia, we are looking for a Logistics Leader to manage our import, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing processes, ensuring an efficient, timely, and business-oriented operation.

This position combines operational management, follow-up and strategic vision, with involvement in supplier management, bidding processes, cost control, KPI monitoring, and compliance with Colombian regulations.

What will you do?

• Coordinate and follow up on import, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing processes.
• Manage logistics suppliers, KPIs, contracts, invoicing, and service levels.
• Participate in bidding, negotiation, and supplier selection processes.
• Coordinate requirements and processes with DIAN, including audits, inspections, and import documentation.
• Oversee transportation, costs, delivery tracking, and PODs.
• Analyze KPIs and identify improvement opportunities to optimize logistics operations.
• Prepare market analyses, quotation comparisons, and reports to support decision-making.
• Manage logistics requirements from Headquarters and ensure compliance with established processes.
• Ensure compliance with SAGRILAFT and other applicable Compliance guidelines.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and international trade.
• Conversational English – Intermediate level (B1-B2) is mandatory.
• Additionally, you should have experience and knowledge in: Customs and transportation regulations, import and customs clearance processes, cargo warehousing and container handling, insurance policies, supplier management and bidding processes, logistics cost control and analysis and OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) requirements.
