Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring an LLM Engineer to build production automation on top of AI models. You will own the automation roadmap and ship scalable systems, not train models.

Collaborate with engineering leaders to turn a documented plan into working workflows using LangChain, LangGraph and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs. We expect 2+ years building production software in Python or Node.js, plus hands-on experience with agent frameworks and API tool calls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship the internal automation roadmap as an LLM Engineer, building production systems on top of AI models.
• Turn a documented roadmap of automation workflows into shipped, working systems with engineering and delivery leadership.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate LangChain/LangGraph workflows and API tool usage into production workflows.
