Bush & Bush Law Group in Medellín seeks a Litigation Assistant to support our US-focused personal injury and employment practice. You will work closely with attorneys and paralegals to prepare documents, manage case files, and assist with trial readiness. This role rewards sharp organizational skills and proactive communication in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in law or related field and have experience in a U.S. legal setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Experience in a U.S. legal environment required; employment and personal injury experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; client-service oriented.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal research databases.
• Team player with ability to support a fast-paced team.

Responsabilidades

• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Case File Management: Organize and maintain case files for easy access.
• Discovery Support: Manage discovery by gathering and summarizing evidence and organizing responses.
• Calendar Management: Track deadlines, appointments, and hearings for the team.
• Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients and provide updates on case progress.
• Trial Preparation: Prepare materials for trial, including exhibits and trial binders.
• Research Assistance: Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
