WSP USA in Colombia seeks a seasoned Líder Técnico de Diseño to lead tower detailing and drafting for high‑voltage transmission projects. You will supervise lattice tower models, fabrication and erection drawings, and coordination with engineers and fabricators to ensure constructability and compliance with NESC, IEEE, and client standards.

You will apply 2D/3D CADD tools, mentor junior designers, review QA/QC, and develop multiple detailing solutions while advancing BIM workflows and field

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma.
• 11+ years of post-education drafting and design support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of drafting principles, codes, and standards.
• Strong ability to perform technical computations and understand plans.
• Analytical mindset with good judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with multiple priorities.
• Proven track record of safety and QA/QC compliance.

Aufgaben

• Lead tower detailing and drafting across multiple transmission projects.
• Oversee lattice tower models, fabrication drawings, and erection plans.
• Coordinate with engineers and fabricators to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Mentor junior designers in AutoCAD, Bocad, and drafting standards.
• Ensure designs meet NESC, IEEE, and client standards and QA/QC requirements.
• Develop multiple detailing solutions and support BIM workflow adoption.
• Participate in pre-construction and field support discussions as needed.
