EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Test Automation Engineer to spearhead mobile testing for Android and iOS. You will define strategies, enhance frameworks, and lead a team to deliver high-quality automation within a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will mentor engineers, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with multi-national teams on top projects. Strong Java and Katalon/Appium expertise are essential, along with excellent English communication.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in mobile test automation (Android/iOS).
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Strong Java skills.
• Expertise in test automation framework development.
• Proficiency in BDD development and experience with TDD frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and running automation code in pipelines.
• Strong skills in GitLab, Bitbucket, and TeamCity.
• Knowledge of Katalon Studio, Appium, and SourceTree.
• Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+ level).

Responsabilidades

• Define tool configuration and setup for automation initiatives.
• Enhance the existing Katalon Studio framework and propose efficient solutions.
• Add detailed test cases and execute them to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Generate user-friendly test reports and integrate Katalon Automation Reports with Polarion.
• Validate custom keywords and implement setup for automation processes.
• Establish test processes, roles, and responsibilities within the team.
• Plan test automation activities and ensure the team follows standard processes.
• Train, coach, and support team members, facilitating smooth transition to the team.
• Run automation code within CI/CD pipelines to feed into DevOps workflows.

In this role, you will define test strategies, enhance automation frameworks, and lead a team of automation engineers to deliver high-quality solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. You will play a critical role in shaping testing processes, mentoring team members, and ensuring seamless integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile applications (Android, iOS)
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Strong skills in Java
• Expertise in test automation framework development (KD, DD, HD)
• Proficiency in BDD development and experience with TDD frameworks
• Background in defining and understanding test strategies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and experience running automation code within pipelines
• Strong skills in GitLab, Bitbucket, and TeamCity
• Knowledge of Katalon Studio, Appium, and Source Tree
• Competency in unit and UX testing
• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Strong focus on delivering quality code on time
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
