Job summary

Hitachi Energy Colombia S.A.S. seeks a senior Real Estate leader to establish and drive the regional real estate strategy for Colombia and nearby countries. You will oversee portfolio planning, facility management, and budgeting, while coordinating with finance, operations, and vendors to optimize space and costs.

The role requires extensive experience in property transactions, financial oversight, and strong leadership. Fluent Spanish and English, plus ERP/SAP proficiency, are essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in real estate-related functions.
• Extensive experience in property purchase, lease, and development.
• Experience managing facility/property management programs for industrial and office space.
• Experience in all financial aspects within real estate.
• Knowledge of maintenance and procurement; negotiating landlord and vendor contracts.
• Working knowledge of real estate/property management software (SAP or ERP).
• Fluent in Spanish and English; hands-on leader; proficient with MS Office 365, SharePoint and MS Teams; SAP or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the Real Estate strategy and plan for assigned countries within the Americas Region, primary Colombia.
• Ensure facilities are in the right location, at the right cost and time to meet objectives.
• Manage real estate budget, CAPEX plans, and expenses; drive profitability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with finance, technical and business areas to deliver projects on time and within budget.
