Job summary
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Lead Proposal Engineer to steer complex technical and commercial proposals for Network Control solutions across Latin America and global markets, including SCADA, EMS, GMS, ADMS, DERMS, and OMS platforms. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and engage executives to craft competitive, winning bids.
You will analyze RFIs/RFPs, shape strategies around scope, costs, and schedules, and consolidate cost estimates and supplier quotes, ensuring smooth handover to execution
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on power systems.
- Experience developing technical and commercial proposals for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS/DERMS or similar digital solutions.
- Experience with tendering, risk analysis, and proposal risk management.
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to proposal development is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for complex power-sector projects.
- Develop proposal strategy considering scope, costs, schedules, and competitiveness.
- Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial proposals and qualification docs.
- Collaborate with global Engineering, Operations, Sales and Finance teams.
- Conduct risk assessments, reviews, and Go/No-Go processes.
