EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Analyst in Colombia to help investigate database structures, document schemas, and build scalable data models aligned with business needs and regulatory obligations.

You will collaborate with data architects, engineers, and product owners, applying data governance standards and contributing to data quality efforts in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year as Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL and JSON data modeling.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory obligations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Study existing database architecture to understand data flow and dependencies.
• Document database schemas, data dictionaries, and lineage records.
• Identify areas to optimize current database structures.
• Collaborate with product owners, data architects, and engineers to craft new data models.
• Ensure data models are scalable, efficient, and follow best practices.
• Create and maintain data models, diagrams, and related docs.
• Meet with stakeholders to gather data-related needs and translate into specs.
• Monitor data governance compliance and data quality processes.
