Coforge is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to orchestrate the RTS delivery squad and own end-to-end data product delivery on a modern cloud data platform. You will architect low-latency, API-driven solutions, build scalable Python services, and drive data pipelines using Azure Databricks, DBT, and SQL.

You will mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps. Strong leadership and communication are essential to success in this role.

Formación

• 8+ years in Data or Software engineering roles.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams of varying levels.
• Strong Python backend development with REST APIs.
• Expert Python OO and testing with PyTest.
• Azure Databricks and DBT experience essential.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines proficiency.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the RTS delivery squad and own end-to-end data product delivery.
• Design architecture for low-latency, API-driven data solutions.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs in Python.
• Develop data pipelines using Azure Databricks, DBT, and SQL.
• Own curated data layers for high availability and performance.
• Lead IaC deployments with Terraform and manage cloud infra.
• Mentor data and ML engineers, guiding career development.
• Institute code reviews and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Eng, Biz to define roadmaps.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and SLA adherence.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and oversee release management.
• Serve as escalation point for production issues.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
