Hy-Vee's Bakery is seeking a Cake Designer to create beautiful cakes and treats for customers. You will greet customers, take orders, and bring visions to life with decorating skills, while coordinating with the bakery team to meet daily production deadlines.

The role emphasizes creativity, accuracy, and on-site execution of wedding and celebration cakes, with leadership responsibilities for part-time staff and adherence to safety standards.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months or less of related work experience; training provided.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and take bakery orders.
• Set up production timeline and check orders daily.
• Decorate cakes with current designs and trends.
• Develop daily bakery orders for bakers and sizes needed.
• Oversee part-time staff and cross-training.
• Ensure sanitation and safe work area.
