Hy-Vee is seeking a Meat Specialist to cut, merchandize, and provide friendly service in the Meat department. You will greet customers, guide them to products, and help with loading heavy items.

Responsibilities include preparing cutting lists, conducting cutting tests, tenderizing and grinding meat, and ensuring proper refrigeration and hygiene in a fast-paced environment. Previous related experience is preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; Hy-Vee food safety training.
• Over one year of related work experience preferred.
• Must be able to solve practical problems; interpret instructions; arithmetic with fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsabilidades

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Meat department.
• Smiles and greets customers; addresses them by name when possible.
• Assists customers by guiding to products, loading heavy items, and noting feedback.
• Prepares cutting lists and conducts cutting tests; tenderizes, grinds and cuts merchandise.
• Monitors refrigeration for proper temperatures and maintains hygiene standards.
