Job summary

Business Sweden in Bogotá, Colombia, seeks a Project Manager to lead advisory and delivery for Swedish and international companies expanding in Colombia and Latin America.

You will manage complex multi-stakeholder projects, drive business development, and build strong client relationships with public and private sector partners across the region. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and prior consulting leadership is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in management/strategy consulting, business advisory, or similar client-facing roles.
• Proven experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, clients, and workstreams.
• Strong commercial track record with business development, client relationship management, proposal development, and sales.
• Extensive professional experience in Colombia with deep understanding of local business environment and stakeholders.
• Experience across Latin America and managing regional or cross-border initiatives preferred.
• Experience in sectors like infrastructure, transportation, energy, utilities, mining, healthcare, sustainability, or public-private collaboration preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex consulting and trade promotion projects in Colombia and Latin America.
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Engage with public and private sector stakeholders and manage multi-stakeholder workstreams.
• Contribute to regional initiatives and cross-market collaboration across Latin America.
• Collaborate with Swedish public agencies, embassies, and development actors.
• Coach project teams and support resource planning and development.
