Job summary

inDrive is seeking a strategic Financial Controller to own the close and local regulatory compliance for LATAM entities, with a focus on Brazil, Mexico and Peru, and to lead the LATAM accounting team.

You will drive month-, quarter-, and year-end close under US GAAP, manage statutory audits, and ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and tax requirements. The role emphasizes automation, strong internal controls and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading month-/quarter-/year-end close under US GAAP with strong documentation.
• Public company experience and SOX knowledge are required.
• Proven leadership, empathy and accountability in accounting, close and compliance.
• Experience with local regulatory reporting, taxation and cross-border audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead LATAM accounting team (5–6 people) across MX, BR and PE with structure and growth.
• Manage close processes under US GAAP and local GAAP with statutory/regulatory compliance.
• Own GL, reconciliations, analyses and global audit deliverables.
• Drive continuous close improvements, automation, SOPs and standardization.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax and FP&A for cash, tax planning and forecasting.
