Job summary

Finance in Motion GmbH is seeking an Investment Management Analyst/Associate to support origination, analysis, execution, and monitoring of debt and hybrid finance investments across Latin America, with emphasis on banks, NBFIs, and other financial intermediaries.

The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling skills, experience in investment banking or investment management, and fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus and travel within Latin America may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, investment management, or financial institutions analysis.
Strong financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and financial modelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

Support origination, analysis, execution, and monitoring of debt and hybrid finance investments across Latin America, focusing on financial institutions.
Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and stress tests.
Prepare investment memoranda, credit proposals, and term sheets for internal approvals.
Coordinate due diligence across legal, ESG/I&S, AML, and risk workstreams.
Monitor portfolio investments and assist in periodic reviews and investor reporting.
