Opella, the self-care champion, is seeking an A2R GBS Closing and Reporting Accountant in Bogotá. You will support monthly closing and reporting, post entries, handle inventory and fixed asset accounting, and ensure accurate financial statements across multiple Latin American countries.

You will work with global stakeholders, harness SAP expertise, and contribute to standardized processes while growing your accounting and reporting skills in a dynamic, values-driven environment.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience supporting accounting, financial reporting, closing processes or general ledger activities.
• English proficiency at an intermediate to upper-intermediate level (B2) to participate in meetings and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP, shared services environments, inventory accounting, fixed assets or IFRS is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly closing and reporting activities in line with established accounting timelines.
• Prepare and post accounting entries, adjustments and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with inventory accounting activities, including standard cost updates and related reporting processes.
• Support fixed asset accounting activities such as capitalization, depreciation and month-end reviews.
• Perform balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations and contribute to financial analysis and reporting.
• Work with accounting systems to resolve process issues, follow up on requests and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different countries and functions to ensure efficient and consistent accounting operations.
